This rhizomatous perennial herb is easily grown from seed.
Endemic to Western Australia
Anigozanthos humilis ssp. chrysanthus
"The Golden Catspaw is known from 15 populations, located at the base of the Darling Scarp, north of Perth, with a total population size of approximately 6200 mature individuals".
